Iron Root is a small batch tea company founded by two best friends who discovered their calling on an extended hiking trip. When they realized the blends they'd brought lacked the energy and soul the experience deserved, they came home and started making their own. Every blend is crafted with organic, ethically sourced ingredients, designed specifically for life on the trail or out in the wilderness. The tea leaves are sourced from a farm they personally visit to ensure ethical production, and most other ingredients are grown on their own land. Iron Root isn't just tea. It's a product built on friendship, ethics, and a genuine connection to the outdoors.
THE CHALLENGE
They had a product they believed in deeply and a clear sense of their values, but no visual direction to match. The brand needed to feel masculine without losing the spiritual, organic, and handcrafted energy at the heart of what they were building. They needed something that could carry the weight of what Iron Root actually stood for.
THE SOLUTION
We built a brand identity that could hold all of it at once. The logo suite centers on a tea leaf embedded into the Iron Root wordmark, classic and grounded with a quiet confidence that feels earned rather than designed. The color palette pulls from the natural world, warm burnt orange, deep forest green, and sharp yellow green that gives the brand an unexpected edge. The graphic system uses bold geometric shapes and a custom asterisk mark that feel rugged and intentional.
Photography direction leans into the outdoors, foraging, open fires, hiking boots, hands in the earth, because Iron Root's story is inseparable from the people behind it and the ethics they built it on. The social media templates carry that same energy, simple, direct, and confident without ever feeling corporate.
The result is a brand that doesn't need to explain itself. The right people see it and immediately understand what it is, who made it, and why it matters.
