Nervous about finding housing in the high pressure Dutch rental market? I came to the Netherlands with my family on the DAFT visa, and our makelaar (Dutch housing agent) recommended creating a personal profile to help us in finding a rental home.

Since then, I have made them for others who also want to come across as organized, friendly, professional, and genuinely themselves, while making sure their information is seen clearly and quickly.

The Dutch rental market is very different from the U.S. Here in the Netherlands, landlords often choose based on personality and overall fit. They may request photos or even a short meeting to get a sense of who you are. They want to understand exactly who will be living in their property and how that household lives day to day.

My Household Profiles present this information in a clear, organized way that allows your personality to come through appropriately. They are based on my own experience navigating the Dutch housing market and informed by conversations with a Dutch makelaar, with the goal of helping you present yourself confidently and competitively in your search.

How It Works

Complete the questionnaire

Fill out the secure Household Info Form at the end of this page with your household details, income information, photos, and your choice of profile layout. This gives me everything I need to create your Household Profile without back and forth.

Invoice and payment

After you submit the form, a payment link is sent to your email. Payment is required before work begins. Base price is 99 EUR.

I build your Household Profile

Once payment is received, I create your Household Profile using the information you provided. Profiles are structured to present both practical details and personality clearly and appropriately for the Dutch rental market.

Review and light edits

You receive a draft PDF to review. One round of small edits is included to correct details or make minor adjustments.

Final delivery

You receive a polished PDF ready to attach to rental applications and send to makelaars or landlords!

Turnaround is typically 3-7 days. Orders can be rushed for an additional 59 EUR and will be completed within 24 hours of payment confirmation. These profiles are in English.

All profiles can be adapted for individuals, couples, families, or shared households. For larger households, the profile will focus on 2 primary income recipients.

The base price of a Household Profile is 99 EUR. You will receive an email with a payment link after submitting this form. Payments are completed securely through Stripe and you can pay with card, Apple Pay, or iDEAL. Once paid, I will begin your design.

If you have chosen a custom design or rush order, you will be sent an additional payment link for those fees. Work will begin once all payments have been made.
